Fashion Show For Fibromyalgia With Sophie From Geordie Shore With Us Flutterby Girls
It is almost a week and a half since the show so sorry for the delay on this blog. Our last Fashion Show For Fibromyalgia in the Wright Venue took place on the 8th August. It was a big one, tough one and tiring on the body but SO worth it.
For those of you who don’t know already I suffer from Fibromyalgia very badly and since I was diagnosed with it I want to try build as much awareness as possible to it!
I want to try take a positive out of a negative and it looks like from the support we are getting we are definitely doing that.
So for those of you who weren’t there, I have to say you missed out (Dont worry there will be more). The lovely Sophie from Geordie Shore popped over to support us! Over the last while Sophie and us Flutterby Girls have become firm friends and she so wanted to be here to let you all know about the illness.
The night started off with a talk from me about who we are, about our courses and my celebrity styling and then I went on to explain Fibro from my point of view and how I feel and live with it! Then the show started, we had some gorgeous male and female models as well as kids and dogs… yes you heard me DOGS!!!
Myself and Shauna styled the show along side the very talentedMichelle Mcgouran Mockler who took care of all the kids. The kids took to the catwalk with the dogs dressed by FunKidz.ie, it was just adorable. We have dancing from Kieva Laurence and United Nations and singing from the talented Allanah Hennessey.
I want to say a huge thanks to each and everyone of you for coming along, for helping me out, for saving my bacon (you know who you are!!!) and for making the show a success! I am wiped out after it but hey it was worth it!
Love you guys – Nicole Flutterby x
